24-hour run/walk raises money for community

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Senior Airman Calvin Woody, 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, powders his feet during a 24 hour run/walk to raise money for Operation Warmheart here Oct. 2. Airman Woody participated in the event all 24 hours completing 56.5 miles. He received a trophy for going the most distance of any individual and raised more than $800. People participating in the run raised money through pledges for Operation Warmheart, which benefits Spangdahlem Airmen in times of financial need.
