SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The 702nd Munitions Support Squadron Color Guard from Buechel Air Base, Germany, stands at attention in front of the grave of Gen. George S. Patton Jr., Third Army commander during World War II, with Helen Patton-Plusczyk, General Patton's granddaughter, during the annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial in Luxembourg City Nov. 11. The 50.5 acre cemetery, which is one of 14 American cemeteries established overseas after World War II, contains the remains of more than 5,000 American servicemembers who died during World War II.
