Local film debut
BITBURG, Germany – Hansjuergen Hilgert (middle) sits next to Col. Kevin Anderson, 52nd Fighter Wing vice commander, and Col. Tip Wight, 52nd Fighter Wing commander, during the debut of his film, “Spangdahlem, Bitburg and the Base,” Feb. 19. The 30-minute documentary shows the relationships between Spangdahlem Air Base and surrounding local German communities since World War II.
