52nd MXG MPOY awards banquet

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – The 2009 52nd Fighter Wing Maintenance Professional of the Year nominees stand center stage during the 2009 MPOY banquet Feb. 27 at Club Eifel. The banquet highlighted the 52nd Maintenance Group’s accomplishments including engine and hydrazine support throughout Europe, several Air Force Smart Operation initiatives, and numerous aircraft and equipment upgrades and modifications. The 52nd MXG also supported more than 10,000 homestation sorties and 28,000 flying hours, culminating in recognition as the best maintenance group in U.S. Air Forces in Europe and winning the command’s 2009 Daedalian trophy.
