480th FS returns from Nellis AFB
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany—A 480th Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot , finishes his post-flight tasks on the flightline here after returning from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Feb. 28. The squadron participated in a seven-week long Red Flag Training Exercise where they accomplished 615 sorties, provided 52 “Saber” incentive flights, dropped 120 heavy weight bombs, fired more than 5,000 rounds of 20 mm ammunition, and flew 27 individual pilot upgrade sorties.
