SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany--Women dressed as old ladies and wearing matching masks capture the city hall in Bitburg on Fat Thursday in 2010. After capturing city hall, the women parade through the city’s streets. In most German cities and towns, including Bitburg, Wittlich and Speicher, it is a tradition for the ladies to ‘capture’ the local city halls and take the city key from the mayor.
