Saber Endurance Challenge raises money for Wounded Warriors
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – A competitor runs through mud during the Saber Endurance Challenge here June 3. Teams of five were judged on team creativity, guessing their time and money raised. Students from Bitburg High School guessed their time closest within four minutes of estimated completion. Team Soup Kitchen from the 52nd Equipment Maintenance Squadron was awarded most creative, and Team MDSS from the 52nd Medical Group raised the most money. The challenge was hosted by the Tier II council and raised money for the Wounded Warrior Project at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Nathanael Callon)
