Class teaches Sabers smart operations
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Capt. Gretchen Haywood, 52nd Medical Operations Squadron, explains what she learned about the Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century to Lt. Col. John Liller, Spandgahlem AFSO21 director, during a Greenbelt class here Aug. 4. The course teaches Airmen to identify wastes, develop tools to improve existing programs and implement lasting changes. This class was the first that Spangdahlem instructors taught without aid from another base, and 16 Airmen graduated. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Daryl Knee)
