Dudeldorf Krautwisch, herb festival

This tractor, located in a grass field on the B-50 between the base and the city of Bitburg, was built from straw piles by local Dudeldorf residents. The tractor announces the community’s traditional Krautwisch or herb festival Aug. 19-21. Among the highlights of the fest are a music party Aug. 21 and a tractor parade the evening of Aug. 22. The entry cost to the music shows range from 6 to 12 Euro. Free entertainment is provided throughout the fest. Food and beverages will be available at cost. (U.S. Air Force photo/Iris Reiff)
