SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airman 1st Class Craig Joseph, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron pavement and equipment journeyman, drives a steel-wheeled roller to smooth dirt in preparation for the pavement process here Aug 16. Pavement and equipment Airmen are combat engineers who engineers who train continuously to perform a variety of maintenance projects.
