Paint shop primes base for visibility

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Achim Elsen, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron painter, uses a paint brush to roll paint on a metal cabinet in the paint shop at Bldg. 120 here Feb 14. Elsen, along with seven other painters, maintains paint for the flightline, road markings, traffic signs, parking lots, government buildings, signs and other items needed for base special events. Painting visible and up-to-date signs and road markings helps the base stay safe. This makes road markings visible from a further distance keeping traffic flow orderly and safe.
