German civic leaders accept honorary command, partnership with U.S. forces

NIEDERWEIS, Germany – Spangdahlem Air Base leadership and German civic leaders socialize before the 52nd Fighter Wing Honorary Commanders Banquet at Niederweis Castle here Feb. 24. The banquet is held to ceremoniously induct German civic leaders into the honorary commander program through a tradition of passing the 52nd FW guidon to the new honored commander.
