Survey says: CES maps base expansion
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Senior Airman Kyra Carty, 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron engineering journeyman, uses a TSC-2 survey controller to store GPS locations calculated by a 5600 total station at the new Exchange construction site here March 1. The geobase shop gathers GPS locations of existing structures and newly-constructed buildings here to update the base map. Establishing accurate and high-quality base imagery allows 52nd CES engineers to maintain and develop 52nd Fighter Wing infrastructure. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Matthew B.
