National Museum of Military History in Diekirch brings history alive

DIERKIRCH, Luxembourg – This diorama scene, located at the National Museum of Military History in Diekirch, Luxembourg, shows U.S. Army medics as they evacuate a wounded Soldier via a World War II Doge Ambulance. A series of large-scale life-size dioramas, thematic exhibits, weaponry, vehicles, countless original photographs and many personal artifacts tell the story of the liberation of Luxembourg by the United States and allied forces in 1944-45 as well as the history of the “Battle of the Bulge,” at the museum.
