New traffic circle nears completion

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Construction continues on the new traffic circle into the northwest-expansion area here March 26. The main gate will be closed for construction to the traffic circle until April 5. The South Gate will be open for inbound and outbound traffic until construction is complete. Gate 2 will be open Monday through Friday to inbound traffic 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. and outbound traffic 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. from Memorial Drive only. Inbound traffic will flow past Gate 2 to the B-50 traffic circle and re-route back to Gate 2 via the access road to the right of the main road. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Matthew B.
