SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Danielle Garrow, Spangdahlem Veterinary Treatment Facility veterinary technician, puts a blood sample into a vial with a reagent for a heartworm test inside the clinic here April 20. The clinic cares for Department of Defense privately owned pets and military working dogs with services ranging from nail clippings to elective surgeries such as dental work, spaying and neutering. Spangdahlem AB members are required to register their pets with the clinic within 14 days of the pet’s arrival on station.
