Softball tournament commemorates Cinco de Mayo

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany –Nicholas McDonald, 31st Munitions Support Squadron from Aviano AB, Italy, runs to first base during a double elimination Cinco de Mayo softball tournament here May 4. The Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, team beat the Aviano AB team with a final score of 16 - 6 in the first game of the tournament. The varsity Sabers softball teams hosted the event to raise funds for future tournaments. Ramstein AB took first place overall by beating another team from Ramstein with a score of 36 - 25.
