Retreat ceremony signals end of National Police Week

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – From left to right, Airman 1st Class Bronwyn Bartechko, Staff Sgt. Julious Del Rosario and Senior Airman Robert Neff, 52nd Security Forces Squadron patrolmen, fold an American flag during the National Police Week retreat ceremony outside the wing headquarters building here May 21. The ceremony consisted of the playing of retreat followed by the German and American national anthems and the lowering of each country’s flag. The ceremony closes National Police Week by honoring law enforcement members who gave their life for the safety and protection of others.
