AFREP saves 52nd FW time and money
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Tech. Sgt. Robert Fuss, 52nd Maintenance Group Air Force repair enhancement program manager, performs a functions check on a circuit of an armament test station harness inside the 52nd MXG AFREP section here July 17. The AFREP section fixes items that cannot be contracted out for repair and items that are cheaper to repair than replace. The majority of the services provided by the shop is for the 52nd Maintenance Group, but they can also help other groups within the 52nd Fighter Wing. The section saved more than $1 million last year for the Air Force while maintaining a credible combat power. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Dillon Davis/Released)
