Blood bank cashes in: ASBP collects pints for military members in need

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Landstuhl Regional Medical Center laboratory technicians draw blood from 52nd Fighter Wing members during a Spangdahlem blood drive inside the Brick House here July 25. The blood drive is held here quarterly by the LRMC staff to support the Armed Services Blood Program. The donated blood is sent to forward operating bases and military medical agencies around the world to continually support the U.S. military.
