JPAC continues the search
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Army Sgt. Nicholas Wiseman, Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command screening NCO dumps June 12, 2013, a fresh batch of dirt onto a sifter in search of human remains from a plane crash during World War II. JPAC conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
