Fifteen Spangdahlem Airmen received kudos from wing leadership during a Diamond Sharp Award ceremony at Club Eifel June 23.

The First Sergeants Council sponsors the quarterly program to recognize deserving Airmen for their commitment for professionalism, job performance and selfless service.

"Whether challenging yourself or challenging others to be better, you're bringing them along and setting the example for your peers, those who work for you and around you--which is exactly what we need," said Col. Lars Hubert, 52nd Fighter Wing acting wing commander. "I encourage you to get out there and continue to do that each and every day and motivate the people in our wing to make things better."
