Years in Service: 10 years Why joined: Family tradition, money for college Family: Married to Megan Cortes, a radio frequency transmissions technician also assigned to the 701st MUNSS. One 18-month-old-daughter, and another baby girl due in August. Hobbies: Traveling, taking photos. Favorite aspect of job: I enjoy being able to support a unit with such an important job. Working side by side with AFSCs I might not normally interact with and feeling like we are a team. We are all responsible for our success in this no-fail-surety mission. Most memorable Air Force experience: My first force on force exercise, wearing MILES gear (gear that lets people know when they are hit by a simulated round) and participating as opposing forces for our local defenders. How do you make responsible choices: I weigh my choices on the investments I've made. Being in the USAF for 10 years and being able to provide for my family are worth too much for me to lose any of it on an irresponsible choice.
