Stephen Scherzer Organization: 52nd Maintenance Group Source of Commissioning: U.S. Air Force Academy class of 1993 Off-duty time is for: Family and enjoying everything Germany and Europe have to offer Previous assignments: - Director of Maintenance and Logistics; Train, Advise, Assist Command-Air, 438th Air Expeditionary Wing, FOB Oqab, Kabul, Afghanistan - Deputy Group Commander; 82nd Training Group, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas - Combatant Commanders' Exercise Engagement Program Manager; Joint Staff J-7, Pentagon, Virginia Organizational Goals: Provide trained pilots, trained maintainers, and safe, reliable aircraft and munitions resources to the combatant commander to defend American and Allied interests. Enhance partnership capacity through information exchange visits. Work Philosophy: I have two main missions. The first is to produce war ready aircraft and ammo. The second is to take care of the Airmen and families that make mission one possible.
