"Promotion to chief is the pinnacle of enlisted service," said U.S. Air Force Col. Joe McFall, 52nd FW commander. "These outstanding professionals join an elite fellowship based on their career-long dedication to the Air Force and its Airmen." The Air Force selected 525 senior master sergeants from a pool of 2,521 across the Air Force for promotion, representing a 20.83 percent selection rate. "On behalf of a grateful Air Force and nation, congratulations to you and your families on this phenomenal accomplishment," McFall said. "As you've always done, I know that you'll continue to leave it better than you found it and lead the next generation of Airmen into a successful future."
