AAFES to close stores for annual inventory check Published Jan. 11, 2016 By Staff Reports 52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Spangdahlem's AAFES stores will temporarily close on select dates as employees conduct their annual retail inventory in January. The item-for-item counting of all the company's merchandise coincides with the conclusion of the store's fiscal year. AAFES INVENTORY CLOSURE DATES Main Store, Bldg. 570 -Jan. 19, closed for the day Military Clothing Sales Store, Bldg. 570 -Jan. 29, closed for the day Express/Car Care Center, Bldg. 560 -Jan. 27, facility will close at 6 p.m. For customer convenience, the fuel pumps will remain open until 10 p.m. Food facilities, such as the Food Court and Popeyes, will not be impacted by the above retail inventory dates.
