SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The 52nd Fighter Wing commander addressed Airmen during two commander's calls at the base theater at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, March 29, 2016.
U.S. Air Force Col. Joe McFall highlighted the Airmen's ability to carry out the mission of Fueling Forward-Ready-Now with Airpower Options.
"It all focuses back on what we do: deploying combat airpower," McFall said. "I could go through everyone in this room - whether it's providing community support or fixing the aircraft, flying the aircraft, controlling the aircraft or anything else that happens here - each and every one of you has a big piece of that."
He also touted the examples of nine Airmen for exemplary service at Spangdahlem and around the globe.
"The bottomline: I want to say thanks," McFall said. "The nation needs us to be ready to do it, and I don't think anyone does it better than Spangdahlem."
