Longtime DoDDS educator and FEA leader dies Published Sept. 10, 2007 WIESBADEN, Germany -- The Department of Defense Education Activity regrets to announce the death of a longtime educator and leader with the Federal Education Association. Roseann Drydale died Aug. 29, 2007 after a long illness. She was buried next to her late husband, John, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Drydale was born in Altus, Oklahoma, Sept. 27, 1954. She was the youngest of three children and is survived by her sister Toby and brother Melvin Pincus. Pincus was a teacher at Aviano Elementary School until his recent retirement. Drydale joined the Department of Defense Dependents Schools in 1978 as a teacher in Nuremburg, Germany. Her career took her to Mannheim, Bad Kreuznach, Neubruecke, Sembach and Sasebo Japan. She served as the European Area Director for Bavaria and Kaiserslautern.
