Conserve not only money, but also natural resources with the following Green Tips:

General awareness
- Create an awareness of the need for energy conservation with children.
- Be aware of the need for energy conservation at home, the workplace, hotels, etc

Appliances:
- Washing machines and dryers use one third of the household's electricity. When washing clothes, remember detergents work best at lower temperatures. In most cases, when drying clothes, it is no longer necessary to use the traditional 90 degrees Celsius setting.
- Wash clothes that are not extremely dirty at lower temperatures without using the pre-wash setting. When available, use economy settings.
- Whenever possible, wash a full load of laundry.
- Select the appropriate detergent and use proper measurements based on the size of the load and type of fabric being washed.
- Pre-treat stains.
- Set the washer's centrifuge to 1,200 rpm instead of 800 rpm, which saves one third of the energy used by the dryer.
- Clean the dryer lint-trap after each load.
