Name: Airman Sarah Sickler Unit: 52nd Dental Squadron Duty title: Dental assistant apprentice Hometown: Copperas Cove, Texas Years in service: 11 months Why joined: I joined the Air Force because I wanted to serve my country. I also felt it would be a great opportunity to travel and experience things most people would never get to do. Family: My Mom, a medical coding technician, an older brother, who is Army special forces, and last but not least my sister, an Air Force medical technician Hobbies: I enjoy scrapbooking, photography, baking, traveling and of course hanging out with friends. Favorite aspect of job: My favorite aspect of my job is always changing. There are many aspects of being a dental technician; no patient is ever the same. Most memorable Air Force experience: My most memorable Air Force experience was being a new Airman and being selected to go on a temporary duty assignment for manning assistance to the Geilenkirchen Dental Clinic and seeing how a NATO base is run.
