Couples interested in enriching their relationships need to look no further than the base Airman and Family Readiness Center.

This spring the A&FRC hosts another Mosel Reintegration Retreat, offering 25 military couples a unique relationship building opportunity.

The sixth Mosel Reintegration Retreat takes place at the Liesertal Hotel in Maring, Germany, March 28-30, 2008. This marriage enrichment weekend provides instruction and skill building workshops for couples on topics include increasing communication, handling conflict, blending romance and finance, understanding and appreciating differences and more.

Reservations for this event will be accepted beginning Feb. 11, 2008. First priority is granted couples whose active duty member has returned from deployment or an unaccompanied tour. Second priority is given to those with a member scheduled to deploy within the next six months. Third priority goes to dual military couples and fourth priority is for any active duty couple. All couples selected to attend must complete pre and post retreat assessments with an A&FRC community readiness consultant by March 14, 2008.

The cost of this enriching weekend is 20 euro for technical sergeants and below and 30 euro for master sergeants and above, which must be paid in advance. This minimal fee includes hotel, meals and instruction for the entire weekend. Transportation and child care arrangements are the responsibility of couples attending.

The staff at the A&FRC urges Sabers to take advantage of this opportunity so they can reap the benefits of reconnecting with their spouse while increasing the romance and intimacy in their marriage.
