Years in service: Five years Why joined: I joined for the chance to serve my country, see the world and go to college. My father lives in San Antonio, Texas, my mother lives in Greeneville, Tenn., and my brother is in the Army stationed in Hawaii. Hobbies: I enjoy traveling, climbing, bicycling, school and video games. Favorite aspect of job: My favorite aspect of my job is working with other services and saving lives by disarming improvised explosive devices. Most memorable Air Force experience: My most memorable Air Force experience was spending three months at patrol bases in Iraq working with the Army, sleeping in tents and disabling improvised explosive devices.
