SPES students buzz through spelling bee

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Samantha Wilson, a fourth grader at Spangdahlem Elementary School, earned first place in the school’s Parent, Teacher Student Association spelling bee. SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Congratulations to the following Spangdahlem Elementary School students who placed in the school's Parent, Teacher Student Association spelling bee:

First place went to Samantha Wilson, a fourth grader in Mrs. Fant's class. She is the daughter of Nanette and Chief Master Sgt. Scott Wilson, 52nd Mission Support Group. Samantha will participate in the European Spelling Bee at Ramstein Air Base in March.

The runner-up was MaKenna Demers, a third grader in Mrs. Price's class. She is the daughter of Michelle and Senior Master Sgt. Daniel Demers, 52nd Component Maintenance Squadron.
