Who took my magazines?

According to postal service officials, customers may not be getting their 2nd class mail in a timely fashion.

Time Value Publications -- 2nd class mail newsletters and magazines that are delivered weekly, such as Time and People magazines -- are being delayed.

The postal team at the 435th Air Base Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, recently discovered a glitch in the way military mail was being processed and distributed to Europe. According to Col. Earl D. Matthews, 435th ABW commander, the wing has been working the issue with USPS and the Military Postal Service Agency and a solution should be in place next week.

Despite the 435th commander sending a team to the east coast to get a handle on the problem, there may be another four to six week delay in receipt of some TVPs since the publications are already in the system. So, don't call the distribution desks at People and Time; your subscription has not lapsed.
