Angelo Mejia, 52nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron Bio Environmental Flight chemical authorization program manager, has been named the 52nd Fighter Wing's Top Saber Performer for the week of May 9-15. Hobbies: I enjoy playing different sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer etc. I love to play pool, playing the acoustic guitar, singing karaoke, dancing, site-seeing and working out. Favorite aspect of job: My favorite aspect of the job is emergency responses and readiness. Most memorable Air Force experience: My most memorable Air Force experience happened at my first duty base, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., being a part of the Vandenberg Honor Guard Team. It was during my first Honor Guard funeral detail for a retired Air force officer. The moment I presented the flag to the next of kin, she embraced me with that sincere cry ... which felt like it lasted forever. Afterwards, she wrote the whole team a Letter of appreciation telling us how grateful her family was and how honored she was for us to pay tribute for the service of her loved one.
