(Courtesy Photo) Name: Staff Sgt. Julie Gebert Hansen Unit: 470th Air Base Squadron, Geilenkirchen Duty title: NCOIC, Inbound Traffic Management Office Hometown: Beavercreek, Ohio Years in Service: 4.5 years Why joined: Travel, college loan repayment and to finish my master's degree Family: Husband, Esben Hansen Hobbies: Running, computers and practicing my foreign language skills Favorite aspect of job: Assisting inbound members in obtaining their household goods. Inbound members have enough stress in their daily lives, so I try to give good customer service and treat others how I hope they would treat me if I was in their shoes. Moving is never easy but I just want them to know I'm here to help. Most memorable Air Force experience: Coordinating flights that helped joint members downrange go on emergency leave to get home because a loved one had died. I didn't mind being awakened at 2 a.m. to help someone in their time of need. It's amazing what the men and women are doing downrange, and I felt honored helping them.
