Sabers advised to remove recalled infant, child Tylenol products Published May 4, 2010 52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Sabers should double-check Tylenol medication labels before administering them to a child as a recent recall has been applied to multiple Tylenol medications for infants and children. All recalled products were removed from stores carrying the products both here and at Bitburg Annex, including the shoppettes, commissaries and base exchanges. The 52nd Public Health office advises anyone with Tylenol intended for infants or children at home to discard it if it is on the recall list. Anyone who recently purchased a recalled Tylenol product here or at Bitburg Annex can be reimbursed by returning it to the respective store where it was bought. According to a McNeil Consumer Healthcare press release, Tylenol's parent company, the recall was not initiated due to any adverse medical events, rather as a precautionary measure as some products may not meet required quality standards.
