DoDDS early release Published Dec. 16, 2010 By 52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Department of Defense Dependents Schools for both Spangdahlem Air Base and Bitburg Air Base will have an early release at 11 a.m. due to expected snowfall this afternoon. School busses will begin punctually at this time according to published early release schedules. Regular school schedules are the only systems affected at this time; School Age Programs have undergone no cancellations or early releases. As of 10:10 a.m. local time, this early release affects DoDDS schools only and no early releases of military personnel have been implemented. This will continually be updated as information becomes available.
