52nd FW receives Outstanding Unit Award Published Feb. 8, 2011 52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Servicemembers of the 52nd Fighter Wing were awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for the period of July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2010. Airmen who worked under the 52nd FW during this time are eligible for the award's corresponding ribbon. Subordinate organizations, such as tenant units or geographically-separated units, should contact their servicing wing to verify eligibility.
