Why joined: My father was in the Air Force, so I grew up as a "Military Brat" and wanted to serve my country.

Family: My wife, Katie; my daughter, Makana; and my sons Kamalu and Kekoa.

Hobbies: I enjoy playing the ukulele, playing guitar, surfing, skating, snowboarding, scuba diving and fishing.

Favorite aspect of job: My favorite part of my job is packing parachutes and working with the pilots.

Most memorable AF experience: Arctic Survival School in Eielson Air Base, Alaska.

How do you make responsible choices: I always have a plan of action, follow instructions and ask for advice or guidance if I don't understand something.
