HERFORST, Germany -- Herforst, a neighboring community of the base, will have a historical festival Sept. 17-18. This festival will celebrate the town’s 750th anniversary. Many local clubs and associations are participating and all visitors are welcome. Activities will take place around the church and throughout the streets of the village.
