Advent announces holidays
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The Advent wreath, a popular holiday symbol in Germany, is lit to signify the holidays. The wreath is made of branches with four candles, one of which is lighted on each Advent Sunday until all four are burning together. The fourth candle will be lit Dec. 18.
