Years in Service: One year and four months Why joined: As a child, I always enjoyed seeing members of the U.S. Air Force in uniform. It gave me a sense of pride. I knew I wanted to serve my county and wear the same uniform. Family: My mother, Maria; father, Wadie; brother, Ruben; sister, Andrea; and husband, Airman 1st Class Daniel Serfass, 52nd Communications Squadron. Hobbies: I enjoy playing piano, working on computers, learning new outdoor activities, volunteering and traveling. Favorite aspect of job: My favorite aspect of the job is working with Sharepoint and records management computer systems and programs, and learning the ins and outs of my career field. Most memorable Air Force experience: I was really excited to arrive at Frankfurt Airport, because it was the gateway to my very first assignment in the Air Force at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
