Name: Senior Airman Evan Mills

Unit: Spangdahlem American Forces Network

Duty title: Broadcast journalist

Hometown: Florence, Ky.

Years in Service: Two and a half years

Why joined: I joined because it was what I felt God was calling me to do at that time in my life. I wanted to serve in the military since I was 10 years old.

Family: Father, Matt; mother, Lori; sister, Abbi; and brother, Ezra.

Hobbies: Volunteering for the chapel community, playing the guitar, singing, reading and playing videogames.

Favorite aspect of job: I get to see what everyone else in the military does, and then tell their story. It's a great responsibility, but I love doing it.

Most memorable Air Force experience: On a temporary duty to Pope Air Force Base N.C., I got to shoot night-time video footage of the Army's 82nd Airborne jump out of a C-130 J Super Hercules.

How do you make responsible choices: My faith is what I base my decisions off of, and I go by what I feel is right in the Lord's eyes.
