SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – German Bundeswehr and Deutsche Flug Sicherung members visit the Ground Control Approach radar facility as part of a Spangdahlem Air Base tour April 3, 2013. German military provided presentations for the 606th Air Control Squadron and 52nd Operations Group operators about their systems, future airspace changes, shared deployed experiences and continued partnership building. Allan Turk, 52nd Operations Support Squadron tower chief controller from Zanesville, Ohio, briefs German Bundeswehr and Deutsche Flug Sicherung members about an air traffic control simulator as part of a Spangdahlem Air Base tour April 3, 2013. During their visit, German military toured the 606th Air Control Squadron and mobility ramp and viewed an explosive ordnance disposal remote control military robot demonstration.
