SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Steven E. Metsker, 26, of Boise, Idaho died Feb. 1 in Belgium as a result of a car crash caused by black ice. He was assigned to the 701st Munitions Support Squadron at Kliene Brogel Air Base, Belgium.
