SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The 52nd Fighter Wing recently unveiled its new mission statement complete with more strategic airpower options.

U.S. Air Force Col. Joe McFall, 52nd FW commander, and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Brian Gates, 52nd FW command chief, selected "Fueling Forward-Ready-Now with Airpower Options" as the successor to the wing's previous mission statement of "Defending American and Allied Interests -- Building Partner Capacity."

The wing's pillars of Mission, Airmen and Community will remain intact as the base's foundation, McFall said. He added that the updated strategic options are designed to fold under the mission pillar with additional wing values nesting under the Airmen and Community pillars.
