The 52nd MMG hosted a change of command ceremony to bid farewell to Col. Donahue and welcome Col. Kochan, at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, July 8, 2024. The change of command is a military tradition that represents a formal transfer of authority and responsibility for a unit from an outgoing to an incoming commanding officer.
