Name: Staff Sgt. Rebecca Ludemann
Unit: 52nd Operational Support Squadron
Duty title: Air traffic control watch supervisor and 52nd Operations Group security representative.
Hometown: I am a military brat, born in Fayetteville NC
Years in service: Seven years
Why joined: I joined the Air Force because I wanted to fly. Now that I have a family my goals have changed a little. The Air Force has benefited me in more ways than one. It has offered stability, education, and travel. I met my husband and some of my best friends in the Air Force.
Family: Husband, Brandon; children, Lexy and Bradan
Hobbies: I enjoy spending time traveling with my family, going to parks, swimming and going in town to get ice cream. I like to read, ride horses/dirt bikes and I love math.
Favorite aspect of job: I love working ATC because it's the next best thing to actually flying a jet; it is challenging at times, prestigious and definitely a lot of fun. I love working with the people in my office because I am able to work with individuals of every rank and profession, I am a people person, and I have the best bosses.
Most recent memorable Air Force experience: My most memorable Air Force experience is getting ready for the Tactical Air Command Evaluation. This base was totally committed to doing its best. People worked crazy hours and crazy hard so we would do well.
