Staff Sgt. David Coles, 606th Air Control Squadron ground radar systems craftsman, has been named the 52nd Fighter Wing's Top Saber Performer for the week of March 28-April 3.

Why joined: I joined the Air Force because military service is a family tradition and I needed stability in my life.
Family: My son Cameron, eight years old, and daughter Ashlinn, three years old
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, traveling, hunting and fishing.
Favorite aspect of job: My favorite aspect of the job is traveling. I recently participated in the President of the United States support mission JTF-Nomad Fire in Accra, Ghana.
Most memorable Air Force experience: My most memorable Air Force experience was deploying to Baghdad, Iraq in 2003. We were the first Air Control Squadron in Iraq, where we set up at Baghdad International Airport.
